Mw 5.4 Northern Italy on December 23th 2008 at 15:24 UTC
- An earthquake of magnitude Mw 5.4 occurred on 23/12/2008 in the North of Italy, at 14 km South West Reggio nell'emilia at 15:24 UTC (16:24 local time).
It has been widely felt in all northern Italy but nobody was injured. Train services were briefly interrupted on some lines and there was minor damage to some buildings, including two churches.
